What makes this ThinLine girth so unique?

1. A unique stabilising D-ring or V-system.
The ThinLine girth is equipped with a clever D-ring or V-system in which the buckles are connected to one another. This system helps to distribute the tension more evenly across the girth straps, contributing to greater balance, a more even distribution of pressure and a more stable saddle position.
2. Even distribution of tension.
Because both sides work together functionally, the pulling force is better balanced. This can provide a calmer feel and a more balanced pressure distribution under the saddle. Extra help with uneven girth straps With some horses or saddles, you may notice that one buckle does not line up with the same hole as the other. In such situations, this system can also help to better balance the tension. It is not intended solely for this purpose, but can offer an additional benefit in such cases.
3. Supports the stability of the saddle.
The more balanced tension can help to keep the saddle more stable and reduce forward slippage.

What are the Effects of ThinLine Tack?

How this product absorbs motion encourages horses to move through the back,” Elaine explains. “We receive stories daily of how ThinLine saddle pads have improved a horse’s movement or a rider’s ability to sit their horse’s gaits. These riders tell us they have little or no back strain and that their horses are working better and happier. It’s a two-way street of comfort,  preventing problems, resolving challenges and just having better communication.

What are some additional features?

The trademark open cell technology also makes ThinLine horse tack 100% breathable so heat and moisture are not trapped. An anti-microbial agent is also infused into  ThinLine girths and horse boots. Because ThinLine doesn’t compress or slip, pressure points created by movement in the saddle or challenges associated with working muscles are nearly eliminated.  It also has more longevity than any other product on the market. Many people get more than a decade out of a basic ThinLine Pad.

Care instructions

We recommend the use of ThinLine Cleaners for these products, as they have been tested and are completely safe for the ThinLine foam lining and do an excellent job of cleaning the leather in an all-natural product. Or just wipe with soap and water. Easy care, long-lasting. Please do not use oil-based cleaners like Lexol. The oil will harden the ThinLine material and you want it soft for years! If you do not purchase our cleaners please use dish soap and water or baby wipes. Thank you.
